Packing Puzzle Books for a Holiday
Choose the right size for your trip
A large-format book works well on a holiday cottage table or hotel desk. A smaller edition may fit a day bag more easily. Consider luggage space, page weight and where you expect to use it.
Bring the simple extras
A pencil, rubber and bookmark are usually enough. If you print a sampler, keep the sheets in a light folder so they do not crumple. Print the answer pages too, or keep a copy accessible on your own device.
Save a few themes for the journey
Pick pages connected to the places you are visiting, or choose a completely different subject for a change of scene. There is no need to solve the book in page order.
Use the sampler first
Our ten-puzzle pack can help you decide whether you want a full large-format collection. It is a sample from the flagship, so those puzzles also appear in the paid book. It is not advertised as ten additional exclusive puzzles.
Try a few pages for yourself
Our free British sampler includes ten puzzles and their answers. Explore the first full collection for its page and type specifications.
